Yu Yang x Uma Studio

The mural created by Yang Yu for a London interior design studio draws inspiration from the renowned relief sculpture "Scandal" by Charles Sargeant Jagger, a prominent British sculptor from the first half of the 20th century.
Originally designed for the living room of Mulberry House in Westminster Palace, Jagger's work is reinterpreted by Yang Yu, who transforms the sculpture’s form into an ethereal, naturalistic depiction of upward movement. By infusing the mural with a gradient hand-painted texture, Yang Yu enhances the sense of ethereal ascension, blending the physical with the abstract to evoke a serene and uplifting atmosphere in the studio's interior.
